Miss Fern Skirt Part 2 - Tester Round-up (Sofiona Designs)

The lovely Sofie is modeling the maxi length.
She used a rolled hem which effects the length.
I think it looks perfect.

The short version is 1 tier that is gathered and added to the fitted waistband.

Lisa made her lovely Daughter the
Midi Length


This option has two tiers that are both gathered and attached to the waistband.


Ohhh and did I mention it has
POCKETS!!!!




This dress also passes the twirl test which is a must for any fun flowy summer skirt

I must say as I was   gathering the third tier the short length was looking like a much smarter option.

The lovely Annie chose a maxi length.




I love how it flows, and this fabric is just gorgeous.  I love a good tropical print, and wow that color green perfect for spring. 

 

 

 

 







Don't worry Annie the weather will warm up at some point, and you'll get to wear it outside.

The lovely Vivianne is wearing the short length.

 

 

The colors on this fabric is so unique I really like it.  The simplicity of the single layer lets the pattern shine






I love the flat waistband on the pattern and minimal gathering around the hips.  

 

It gives a lovely line

Annedien made her lovely daughter a midi length Fern. 




This is such a great length to go with her boots. 











BUT Can we take a minute and appreciate that lace trim.

 And we're back to the snow with the lovely Kate.

She two is wearing the short option and paired it with both heels and runners.  I LOVE how easy it is to dress this pattern up or down with just a few changes.  I think she likes the skirt!!! hahaha and I don't blame her it's so fun.

Anja was very smart and decided to make hers a warm and cozy skirt.
 

 

I love how versatile this pattern is, it can be summer, wintry or give off fall vibes.

This skirt is so romantic. I love how flowy it is.

And Wrapping it all up we have the lovely Nicole. 


Nicole made the short version of Fern, and despite the snow in the background it's giving me major spring vibes. 



 

I love the colors in this fabric, I can see this going from spring to fall very easily.  A nice brown sweater and some boots and she is all set.
